Gauge
4inches/10cm = 24 st in 1K,1P ribbing
4inches/10cm = 18 st in stockinette *row count is not as important as stitch count

Size based on calf circumference and how loose/tight of a fit you want. Legwarmers have about 2in negative ease. Measure your calf and subtract 2 inches to find your size below. If you want a looser fit subtract 1in or 0in. XS = 10in, Small = 12in, Medium = 14in, Large = 16in, XL = 18in

Instructions
(XS,S,M,L,XL) Cast on (46, 54, 64, 72, 82) stitches split across 3 or 4 needles placing a marker when you join the round

Rows 1-12 K1, P1 across

Row 14 for sizes XS, M, and XL: K to the last two stitches then K2TOG
for sizes S and L: K across (45, 54, 63, 72, 81 sts)

Rows 16-102 work each row of the brocade pattern repeating the full pattern 11 times (or to desired length

Row 103 (or after you've finished to the desired length) Work row 1 of brocade pattern

Row 104 for sizes XS, M, and XL: K to the end and 1K increase
for sizes S and L: K across (46, 54, 64, 72, 82)

Row 105 K across

Rows 106-118 K1, P1 across

Cast off with a stretchy bind off.
